Artefacts of Jamaica is a digital archive focused on preserving and celebrating Jamaica’s architectural heritage. The project was inspired by visits to historical sites across the island, where the beauty and significance of many structures stood in contrast to the neglect and deterioration they faced over time.

Created by Jamaican visual artist and educator Idris Veitch, Artefacts of Jamaica offers a new way to engage with Jamaica’s past. Through detailed 3D models, each structure, from iconic landmarks like the Ward Theatre and the Kingston Railway Station, is carefully documented and recreated to celebrate its unique legacy.
